Tanis Williams

Tanis Williams was raised in Orland on her small family farm. She built her home in Blue Hill, raised her sons and worked as a labor and Delivery nurse at what was then Blue Hill Memorial Hospital after graduating from the University of Maine with high honors. Tanis Williams was raised in Orland on her small family farm. She built her home in Blue Hill, raised her sons and worked as a labor and Delivery nurse at what was then Blue Hill Memorial Hospital after graduating from the University of Maine with high honors. Tanis owned a small business start-up hand dyeing yarn, selling wholesale around the county, internationally and locally at her shop-String Theory Hand Dyed Yarn. She returned to nursing, now focusing her caregiving on the elder population working at Parker Ridge and privately caring for elders on the Blue Hill Peninsula. She recently pursued another career path focused on client service and relationshipbuilding, real estate. She joined Maine Real Estate Brokerage in 2022 and then Saltmeadow Properties in 2024.

Tanis has a deep knowledge and familiarity with the area, with a special connection and love of the Blue Hill Peninsula and the people that live in our community. Tanis brings her vast experience and skills in communication, professionalism and attention to detail to Saltmeadow properties. She is an avid gardener, fiber artist and hiker. Most days she can be found on a local trail with Lucy her Goldendoodle.
